Boulder County’s co-responder assigned to Superior reported 239 calls or community contacts in 2026 at the Sept. 28 Superior Town Council meeting. The presentation described activity so far this year but did not specify an exact cutoff date.

Program manager Molly McDonald said additional coverage would depend on securing funding and analyzing when calls occur. She said the team could use dispatch data on calls such as welfare checks, child-related calls and calls involving suicidal people to identify busy periods and match staffing to demand. The discussion covered possible analysis and future planning, not a decision to expand service.

Boulder County’s 2025 annual report lists 129 active calls, 43 case-management referrals and 34 follow-up contacts in Superior that year. Those categories total 206, but the report does not establish that the 2026 figure uses the same categories or counting rules, so the figures are not confirmed as directly comparable.
