The Superior Metropolitan District No. 1 Board of Directors conditionally approved an amendment changing how participants share costs for the Southern Water Supply Project’s two pump plants, under Resolution SMD#1-8, Series 2026.

The amendment would require all participants to pay a proportional share of the plants’ administrative, operating, maintenance and repair costs, whether or not they use additional capacity at a particular plant. The plants are hydraulically connected and operate jointly, the Town’s meeting report says.

The attached amendment sets out revised billing beginning with fiscal year 2027 statements. The resolution makes the board’s approval subject to General Counsel approval; the supplied documents do not establish whether that condition has been met or the amendment executed.
