Lafayette oil and gas well oversight

Lafayette's oversight of oil and gas wells includes local registration, operator inspection reporting and enforcement. The city does not currently run routine inspections; council discussed evaluating reported conditions and coordinating with Boulder County and state regulators about nearby low-producing or inactive wells.
