Pueblo County’s mandatory overnight curfew remains in areas affected by the Aspen Acre Fire, including places where evacuations have been lifted. The curfew runs from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., and no traffic is allowed past traffic-control points during those hours, according to a Colorado emergency-management notice.

Colorado’s State Emergency Operations Center is operating at Response Level 1 with state and federal staff, while Recovery Level 1 is in effect and a state recovery task force is activated, according to the Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management’s July 15 status report.

As of 7 a.m. July 15, the Aspen Acre Fire had burned 99,077 acres and was 36% contained, according to a state incident update. The governor’s office has reported more than 4,000 evacuations.

The state report lists food, water and shelter as an unstable statewide lifeline because of numerous evacuations, but the sources reviewed do not identify a specific Pueblo County service outage. The Pueblo County Recreation Center evacuation center is scheduled to operate from noon to 6 p.m. July 15-17, and the report says re-entry credentials have been issued.

The state materials do not specify neighborhood-level curfew boundaries or which local services are affected by the unstable-lifeline designation. Residents should check current county and incident-management instructions before entering re-entry areas.
