Boulder’s Water Resources Advisory Board recommended that City Council approve 2027 utility rate increases of 5% for water and 7% each for wastewater and stormwater/flood management. City staff estimated the combined increases would add about $9 a month to an average residential customer’s bill.
The board also recommended the 2027–2032 Utilities Capital Improvement Program. The recommendation is advisory; City Council must decide whether to approve the rates and program. The board meeting recording captures the recommendation and staff estimate.
